In the midst of the pressures many feel with the advancing countdown to Christmas celebrations, we at Emmaus have chosen to offer a respite time each week of Advent to focus and prepare our hearts for that which brings us peace and joy. On three Wednesdays beginning November 29th, Pastor Kooi will build our time together around Martin Luther’s hymn “From Heaven Above to Earth I Come.” A meal/fellowship time will follow after the 11:30 a.m. service and precede the hour before 6:30 p.m. worship service.
