We will move to a different format for Vacation Bible School this year.
So that we can reach working families in our neighborhood and congregation, we will have an early evening VBS on July 29, 30, 31 from 6-8 PM. We will start with a light supper from 6-6:25 in our church fellowship room and then move to our original sanctuary, which is air conditioned now, for music and story time. We will even have opportunity for the adults to have some Bible study as well.
We are aiming at the children from ages 3-12 (sixth grade). Any children in seventh grade or above are asked to offer assistance as helpers.
We will deliver invitations to about 500 homes close by Emmaus in early July and will follow that up with another door hanger the weekend before VBS. We would like every child in our congregation to come and we ask members to sign up and bring any children they know.
