The Mission of Emmaus
Our mission is to extend the Kingdom of God by inviting people into an active, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, strengthening them in their faith and relationships with one another, and equipping them for service.
LCMS
Emmaus is part of The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS is a mission-oriented, Bible-based, confessional Christian denomination headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, founded on the teachings of Martin Luther. You may find out more about the LCMS by visiting www.lcms.org.
Schools
We make an effort as God’s people to provide opportunities for education in Christian settings. Some of the LCMS schools in our area include Concordia Academy (high school), and Concordia University. Emmaus is an Association Church of Concordia Academy.
